Johnathan Kayne

Gowns have taken me all over the world. In 2012, I moved back to my hometown Nashville, TN. Running the brand from Music City has presented opportunities to meet and design for some of my all-time favorite entertainers, including Dolly Parton. It has truly been a dream come true. While designing gowns is an obvious passion, I am so thankful to have been blessed with such a fulfilled life. I have an amazing life partner, Ian. Together we are always on the go trying new restaurants, attending the theatre, or visiting with family members.

Discovering new interests keep my fire lit. This past year Ian and I have started gardening and eating clean right from our back yard. Nashville may soon be known as hops city as well. We love venturing to the numerous craft breweries that have opened to hunt for the next great beer. Thank you for visiting our site and feel free to reach out via the “contact us” tab. Natalie Childress

Or you could call me “Natalia” as I am often referred to in the office. My journey with Johnathan Kayne has been wild and fun. Starting as an intern while studying at the prestigious O’More College of Design it was clear that this team was a great fit for me. After graduating from the Fashion Merchandising program I soon returned and became design assistant and Kayne’s right hand gal. Overseeing that process and my prior experience with the team gives me a great advantage as I have now stepped into the role of Glam Manager. With this fun title I now tackle the day to day operations, and manage the team.  Outside of gowns I enjoy spending time with family, and love traveling as much as possible.

Katie Corder

As a lover of all things glitz and glam, working in the fashion industry has always been more than just a job—it’s been a lifelong passion. My journey began as a teenager in North Mississippi, where I had the incredible opportunity to work for a bridal and formalwear store. It was there that I fell in love with the world of fashion, and I knew I wanted to make it my career. In 2010, I visited Nashville for the first time and instantly fell in love with the city’s vibrant energy. I realized then that I was just a small-town girl with big city dreams, and Nashville was where I wanted to make those dreams come true. While working at the bridal store, I often found myself dreaming of working for one of the prestigious brands we carried. Little did I know, ten years later, that dream would become a reality. Today, I am thrilled to be serving as the Custom Design Manager at Johnathan Kayne. In this role, I have the privilege of building lasting relationships with our retailers and helping women bring their dream dresses to life for their most special moments. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a woman’s face light up when she creates the dress of her dreams, and I am honored to be a part of that experience.

Amanda Callis

I knew I wanted to work in fashion from the time I opened my first Vogue at age 7.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from O’More College of Design, launching a career in apparel manufacturing and product development that has taken me across the globe and allowed me to learn an abundance of tricks of the trade. My true passion is couture craftsmanship, which is why I am incredibly proud to work with Johnathan Kayne as the Sewing Studio Manager. When I am not surrounded in sparkles I am spending time with family and friends, gardening, or causing general mischief.

Connie Stine

I always wanted to draw and design for a living, so I attended Otis/Parsons School of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA. After receiving my BFA in fashion design and illustration, I began my first job at Mattel as a fashion illustrator for the Barbie division. I continued to learn the industry as an eveningwear and special occasion designer and eventually started my consulting business working with film studios as an illustrator and graphic artist for the consumer product divisions. Out of all the skills I have learned over my career, drawing has always remained my first love. I am excited to be part of the Kayne kingdom dream team where I can once again do what I love and do best. When not wielding an electronic pen, I enjoy taking care of my garden and aquarium.

Annette Medcalf

I have been fortunate to work and play in the apparel industry for over thirty years.  From my first job in design, to product development, technical design, manufacturing, finance and operations, retail, and education, my experience stretches across the board. I have worked with leading apparel brands, and been able hang out with NFL and NBA athletes for team outfitting.  While I am way to introverted for Project Runway, I did get to be a member of the design team for outfitting American athletes for two different Olympic Games.  So I have been fortunate to take part in some amazing projects.  At heart, I am a southern girl who loves spending time with family and friends, sewing, doing creative projects, reading, mentoring, learning something new, going for rides in the country, and being outside in a quiet serene place.  Candles, flowers, old architecture, books, libraries, bookstores, animals, and laughter are a few of my favorite things.

Owen Medcalf

I learned from an early age that computers and technology make the world go round. Before I was old enough to go to school, I was firing up the dial up and disconnecting my grandma from her phone calls. This little taste of tech would fuel a lifelong passion for computers. In high school I built my first PC and learned how to manage our home network. That experience turned into a job learning low voltage cabling and networking on a commercial scale, allowing me to really expand my technological knowledge and understanding. Most recently I spent time as a Help Desk Analyst learning the ins and outs of a business’s daily IT needs. Like most IT guys, if you need me, look for the office with the lights off.

Sydney Callahan

A proud Tennessee native with a passion for fashion that blossomed during my time in the Miss America Organization. This incredible journey deepened my love for style, elegance, and design. I was able to channel this enthusiasm into the world of bridal, where I worked at a boutique helping brides achieve their wedding dreams, one beautiful gown at a time. This only grew my passion to help create personalized and memorable experiences, and I developed a deep commitment to exceptional customer service. I’m delighted to bring my warm, customer-focused approach to the Johnathan Kayne team. Connecting and assisting our wonderful clients, ensuring that they feel valued and inspired, is such a privilege! I love getting to contribute to the vibrant culture at Johnathan Kayne and playing a role in the brand’s continued success by bringing joy and confidence to our customers!
